LEARNING FROM NATURE

Mother Nature

                 In a world marked by chaos and unpredictability, nature and humanity share a common battle: survival. Both face challenges, from storms to conflicts, each mirroring the other's wild spirit. This eternal struggle underlines our deep connection with the environment, as we all strive to endure and thrive.

                Nature is a part of the earth in which there are various kinds of living creatures. Nature is everything like the food we eat, the water we drink, or the panorama we enjoy. Nature gives us many benefits that we can use every day. We must thank God because nature has been put on earth and maintain our sense of love for nature. We must have an observation or experiences about nature, like “Why is nature created?” “What was inside?” etc.

         

   Don’t ever underestimate the power of one, when we stand up for one, we stand up for others. That’s what is needed, one tree can't do things without its friends, and so is humans. Only when the last tree is cut, and the last water drop, we humans would understand the real benefit of nature.

Nature can’t be separated from our life. Everything around us is nature. Everything in our home, our school, our town, and ourselves. Nature is very important to our life. It is because we get many things from them. We get fresh air, food, water, and experience. But, from other's viewpoint, nature can give other benefit to them. Scientists thought that nature can make our lives complete in the ecosystem that had various kind of organism. Artist thought that nature could give them inspiration to make something. But from the children’s viewpoint, it can be different.

            Do you ever go to the ocean? It is beautiful right? I feel that it is the most beautiful thing in the nature because it makes me feel free. But if we observe it carefully, it will give us different meaning. Ocean consisted of many particle of water. Also, there are salts there. If we think again, the water and salt that are different in physically can’t be united. But in the reality, they unite into one particle of water. And then they become one with other particles of water and make a beautiful ocean. It gives us a lesson that we are all small but if we unite ourselves we can be a big thing and change the world.

Thank you My Brother

This text made especially for my beloved brother and to complete my english assignment

           On 28^th January 2017 I had this party that I had to attend because It was so important to me. It was the reunion of 41 families of jamadagni that will held in diaz’s home. I was one of the commitie of the party. My task was to delivered the food for the party onto diaz’s home. The day before, I didn’t told my family about this, so in the morning I had gone to Nagia’s home to took the food. I drove there with my brother’s car and arrived in nagia’s home. On the way, my brother kept calling me trough my phone but I hang it up and switched off my phone. 

         Because I was so busy I didn’t cared about everything including my family or else. So in the night I was fell asleep in diaz’s home without my family knew about it. In the morning I woke up, and get ready for the party. After the fun day in the party I got home in the next day. When I got home I didn’t knew that actually my brother had parties too in his friends apartment. But he didn’t came because I used his car and he couldn’t go anywhere. I thought he was going to get super angry but then my brother only said “ It’s okay though, I really want to came but, I knew you had to go so I wont get mad. “  I thanked him for it, and I promise never do that stupid things anynore.

Defeat the world, Defeat myself.

            In this opportunity, im going to try to amuse my readers with my magnificent tremendous and also tragic experience in my last holiday. It was all started on the first day in 27^th December. Me and my friends were getting ready to went to Situ Lembang, a place that was actually the KOPASSUS training ground. We were going there as the JAMADAGNI students that will accomplished my final test on being the young member of JAMADGNI. We went from SMAN 3 Bandung, after the ceremony and a kiss bye from our parents, we went straight to Lembang. We went with a truck. After hours of journey, we arrived in Lembang and continued our journey with our legs. It was really a torture as we walked for 6 hours with our 20 kg carrier on  40 C degree. Day after day we passed with exhaustion, as we only ate worms, trees, and we also slept a natural bivaque made of trees for only 3 hours a day.

We spent days with some various surviving lessons that also made us really tired. My friends started to crying, gave up, and even just want to end this test and went home. But we didn’t, we keep fought until the very last day until the end. On the last day we didn’t know it was our last day. The last day started with an extreme wake-up-method. When we were asleep they woke us up with a TMT bomb, crazy right?. They were also yelling “bencana !! bencana !!’’ which mean disaster in bahasa. We were panicked, really panick. They lead us running in the middle of the jungle on 1 am with our 20 kg carrier and a flashlight. The feels you know, we were just right after awake and they made us do crazy things.

 It ends in about 4 hours and then we were told to sleep in a wide cold field in 4 am with only our raincoat. We woke at 6 am and guess what happen next? We did another long walk with our crazy heavy bags for more than 12 hours!. It was really exhausting. After we arrived in our destination, we were surprised with the presence of our parents. Yes, I cried, everybody cried with the tears of joy. We had a ceremony and took some photos. We went home with our parents with pride and happiness of the realization that we spent 7 days on hell with extreme living condition and survive. Im proud of myself because I had defeated the worst case scenario in jungle for days but mostly, Im proud of me, that able to defeated myself.

YURI GAGARIN

Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin  (9 March 1934 – 27 March 1968) was a Russian Soviet pilot and cosmonaut. He was the first human to journey into outer space, when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit of the Earth on 12 April 1961.

Gagarin became an international celebrity, and was awarded many medals and titles, including Hero of the Soviet Union, the nation's highest honour. Vostok 1 marked his only spaceflight, but he served as backup crew to the Soyuz 1 mission (which ended in a fatal crash). Gagarin later became deputy training director of the Cosmonaut Training Centre outside Moscow, which was later named after him. Gagarin died in 1968 when the MiG-15 training jet he was piloting crashed. The Yuri Gagarin Medal is awarded in his honor.

Yuri Gagarin was born in the village of Klushino, near Gzhatsk (renamed Gagarin in 1968 after his death), on 9 March 1934. His parents worked on a collective farm Alexey Ivanovich Gagarin as a carpenter and bricklayer, and Anna Timofeyevna Gagarina as a milkmaid. Yuri was the third of four children: older brother Valentin, older sister Zoya, and younger brother Boris.

Like millions of people in the Soviet Union, the Gagarin family suffered during Nazi occupation in World War II. Klushino was occupied in November 1941 during the German advance on Moscow, and an officer took over the Gagarin residence. The family was allowed to build a mud hut, approximately 3 by 3 metres  inside, on the land behind their house, where they spent a year and nine months until the end of the occupation. His two older siblings were deported by the Germans to Poland for slave labour in 1943, and did not return until after the war in 1945. In 1946, the family moved to Gzhatsk, where Gagarin continued his secondary education.

At the age of 16 in 1950, Gagarin entered into an apprenticeship as a foundryman at the Lyubertsy Steel Plant near Moscow, and also enrolled at a local "young workers" school for seventh grade evening classes. After graduating in 1951 from both the seventh grade and the vocational school he was selected for further training at the Saratov Industrial Technical School, where he studied tractors. While in Saratov, Gagarin volunteered for weekend training as a Soviet air cadet at a local flying club, where he learned to fly  at first in a biplane and later in a Yak-18 trainer. He also earned extra money as a part-time dock laborer on the Volga River.

Little Red Riding Hood

I want explain you a short story about Little Red Riding Hood

          Once upon a time there was a very beautiful blond girl who lived in a village near the forest with her mother. One day her grandmother gave her a very nice red riding cloak, that is why everybody in the village called her Little Red Riding Hood.  One day…

Mother called little red riding hood "Darling...." , Little red riding hood answered "Yes mother did you called me?"
Mother : "Yes, darling. Your grandmother is very sick. I want you to go to her house and take her                        this little basket with some bread and honey."

Little Red Riding Hood : "Yes mother"
Mother : "But don´t stop in the forest, and don´t talk to stranger. Do as I say, and get soon to your grandmother´s house."
Little Red Riding Hood : "Yes Mother"

         And Little Red Riding Hood went through the forest with the little basket for her grandmother who lived in a nearby village. Along the way, she saw many beautiful flowers in the forest.

Little Red Riding Hood : "Oh, what a beautiful flowers!.  I will take some to my grandmother"

        She left the little basket in the ground to pick up some flowers, when suddenly…

Wolf : "morning Little Red Riding Hood!.  Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha."

Little Red Riding Hood : "Good morning Mr.Wolf!"

Wolf : "Where are you going so early?"

Little Red Riding Hood : "I am going to my grandmother´s house to take her this little basket with some bread and honey."

Wolf  : "Ha,ha, ha, ha, ha, and does your grandmother live far from here, Little Red Riding Hood?"

Little Red Riding Hood : "Oh no, Mr. Wolf, she lives just across the forest in the first little house in the village; the one with the white door."

Wolf : "Good bye, Little Red Riding Hood.  I hope she gets better. And look, do you see that road?"

Little Red Riding Hood : "Yes I do"

Wolf  : Just follow that road and you will get soon to your grandmother´s house.

Little Red Riding Hood : "Oh yes I will, thank you Mr. Wolf"

Wolf : "Good Bye, Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha"

          Little Red Riding Hood kept looking for flowers disobeying her mother who told her not to stop in the forest and to get soon to her grandmother´s house. Meanwhile, the wolf knocked at Little Red Riding Hood grandmother´house.

knock...knock...knock...

Grandmother : "Who's there?"

Wolf : "It´s me grandmother, Little Red Riding Hood, and I brought you a basket with some bread and honey."

Grandmother : "Come here my little girl, push the door"

       As soon as the wolf entered he gobbled up Little Red Riding Hood´s grandmother. Then he put on a nightgown, jumped into bed and waited for the little girl.  A few minutes later Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother´s house. She knocked at the door.

knock...knock...knock...

Wolf : "Who's there?"

Little Red Riding Hood : "Grandmother, it´s me, your granddaughter, Little Red Riding Hood. I came to bring me a little basket with some bread and honey."

Wolf : "Come in my little daughter, push the door."

        Little Red Riding Hood entered the little house. She went straight to her grandmother´s room, and in the bed there was the Wolf dressed with her grandmother´s clothes.

Wolf : "Come in, my little girl. Rest for a while"

        Little Red Riding Hood sat in a chair, and looked at her grandmother

Little Red Riding Hood : "Oh grandmother. how large arms you have!"

Wolf : "Are to hug you better, darling"

Little Red Riding Hood : "Oh grandmother, how big legs you have!."

Wolf : "They are to run faster, sweety"

Little Red Riding Hood : "Oh, how big ears you have, grandmother"

Wolf : "They are to hear you better, honey"

Little Red Riding Hood : "And how big eyes you have"

Wolf : "To see you better, Little Red Riding Hood"

Little Red Riding Hood : "Oh grandmother, and why do you have those big teeth and that big  mouth?"

Wolf : "They are to eat you better!. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!"

        And the Wolf gobbled up Little Red Riding Hood. Then the wolf fell asleep. Meanwhile a woodsman was passing by the little house, when he saw the door opened. He entered, looked for the old lady, and then he saw the wolf.

Woodsman : "The wolf is sleeping! And he´s so fat! I hope I am on time!"

        Then he took the wolf by the neck and made him spit out the poor Grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood who were still in one piece.

Little Red Riding Hood : "Thank You goodwoodsman"

Grandmother : "This will be a lesson for you, Little Red Riding Hood. Now you will never disobey your mother again"
